EXPERIMENT ONE:  Kaumana Cave, a lava tube on the Big Island of Hawai'i, 5 miles outside of Hilo.

The Aaxxa P1 Jr. Liquid Crystal on Silcon (LCoS) pico projectors was tested.  High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing of still photographs of forest canopy, the artist standing in a forest, video footage of live volcano lava flow and water dripping at the entrance of the cave.

The first experiment revealed that pico projection could be used to create theatre style scenography.  A hand and a spirit, floating, suspended in mid-air.
